How to book your Philippine Airlines promo ticket?
Check this tutorial that our team at Piso Fare Promos made. We have included screenshots to the step by step guide on how to do the PAL ticket booking online for your easy reference.
Enter your Flight Details.
Go to the PAL website: www.philippineairlines.com and input your Flight Route, desired Dates of Travel and Number of Passengers. For our sample booking, we are choosing a round trip Manila to Taipei route.
Click on Search Flights.
Choose your Flight Schedule.
You will see the available flights and the cheapest airline ticket rates for your chosen date.
The website also shows the ticket rates for the days prior and following your chosen schedule – this is helpful for those who have flexible travel dates as you’d have the option to choose a flight schedule where you’d be able to get cheaper promo fare prices.
Choose a schedule that works for you. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see your total ticket cost.
Hit on Continue.
Choose your Add-Ons.
The next page will show a summary of your flight and what’s included in your PAL airfare promo ticket.
This page also allows you to add or remove the following:
- Prepaid Baggage
- PAL Travel Insurance
- International Terminal Fee
- Philippine Travel Tax
Most PAL flights already have free check-in baggage allowance included, if you think you need more, then you can choose to add up to 40 Kilos baggage. Note that free baggage allowance and the cost of purchased baggage may differ per route.
Here’s sample of the prepaid baggage allowance options and rates for the Taiwan flight.
PAL Travel InsuranceTravel Insurance costs may differ depending on your destination. If you choose not to add this, just uncheck the box
International Terminal Fee This is already included in your ticket cost, however qualified OFWs can get an exemption and save paying the US $10.80 fee.
Note that the OFWs shall surrender at the airport upon check-in, a legible and valid copy of any of the following documents:
Work Visa/Work Permit
Employment Contract/Employment Certificate
Overseas Employment Certificate
Recent Pay Slip
Philippine Travel Tax
If you choose not to pay for this during your booking, you will still need to line up at a separate counter at the airport and pay for your travel tax before the airline can hand you your boarding pass.
**REVIEW YOUR TICKET PRICE:
If you need to review the updated cost of your booking, just check the sidebar, and you can always see this gray pane that will show your total PAL ticket booking cost with changes/add-ons you may have made.
Since we did not add any baggage, insurance nor travel tax, our total is still at US $143 for our PAL promo ticket to Taiwan.
Choose your Payment Option
Scroll down to the bottom of the Add-ons Page and you will see the following, choose your payment option and hit on NEXT/LOGIN
**Note that if you choose any add-on, the Payment Center option is NOT available. If you are choosing to pay via CASH, make sure that your flight is beyond 48 hours from the time of booking.
